Skinner Motors Pty Ltd trading as Coffs Harbour Toyota is proud to support our local community. We have been sponsoring charities, sporting clubs and community groups for the last 20 years and we don’t intend to stop!

Coffs Harbour Toyota is required to account for all sponsorship provided. A yearly budget is set and we work within these budgets to help as many organisations as possible.

For this reason we have introduced a yearly sponsorship budget and new application process which will enable us to be more transparent and equitable when considering these requests.

Coffs Harbour Toyota And 5 Local Schools To Dig In For National Tree Day 2014 Narranga School's Tree Day

Toyota dealership, Coffs Harbour Toyota and local schools, St Augustine’s Primary School,  Narranga Public School, Nambucca Heads Primary School, Mullaway Primary School and Toormina High School are gearing up to support Australia’s largest annual community tree planting and nature care event, National Tree Day (Sunday 27th July).

Celebrating 15 years of Toyota’s support for the Planet Ark initiative in 2014, Coffs Harbour Toyota is set to drive planting activities at the school. Approximately 40 kids are set to be involved in the event, held on Schools Tree Day (Friday 25th July) in a bid to inspire Australia’s next generation to get into nature and grow, and help preserve the environment.

2014 marks the tenth consecutive year that Coffs Harbour Toyota has partnered with local primary schools for National Tree Day.

Since it began, National Tree Day – along with Schools Tree Day - has been responsible for helping various communities plant more than 20 million trees across the country as part of an ongoing commitment towards global sustainability. The initiative, which sees Toyota’s national dealer network provide on ground support to local communities at planting events across Australia, aims to create a society where people have contact with nature, understand its value and participate in its care.

Every tree we plant on National Tree Day or Schools Tree Day has a positive impact on the future of our planet but none of it would be possible without Toyota and its dealer network’s support.

- Spokesperson for Planet Ark, Debbie Agnew

“Toyota has a long tradition of supporting Australian communities to globally improve the environment so we are looking forward to digging in to do our bit for National Tree Day this year. Our staff have their shovels ready to support this great cause and give something back to our community,” General Manager, Mark Van Ryswyk commented.

Spokesperson for Planet Ark, Debbie Agnew added: “Each year more than 200,000 people take part in National Tree Day at approximately 3000 planting sites which is testament to the willingness of Australian communities to do what they can to support the environment.

“Every tree we plant on National Tree Day or Schools Tree Day has a positive impact on the future of our planet but none of it would be possible without Toyota and its dealer network’s support,” continued Agnew.

Toyota is an industry leader in environmental research and technologies which assist in creating a more sustainable motoring future to benefit all communities.
